Privacy Policy — Recov

Recov ("the app") is a back-pain exercise app published by Kathryn Cross (Iris Monet Labs). This policy explains what information the app handles, in plain language.

The short version

• No account. No sign-up. The app never asks for your name, email, or any personal details.
• Your workout data stays on your device. Streaks, session history, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone and never uploaded anywhere.
• We collect anonymous usage statistics so we can improve the app — nothing that identifies you.

What we collect

The app uses PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics service, to record anonymous usage events — for example: "a session was started," "an exercise was skipped," "a session was completed." These events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not to you. We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, photos, health records, or any personally identifying information.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell any data.
• We do not share data with advertisers.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not collect health data; your exercise activity in the app never leaves your device except as the anonymous statistics described above.

Where analytics data lives

Anonymous usage events are processed by PostHog Inc. and stored in the United States. PostHog's own privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.

Your choices

The app requires no permissions and stores no personal data, so there is nothing to request, correct, or delete on our side. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data (streaks and history) permanently.
